Lepanthopsis astrophora – Miniature Orchid for Paludarium

Lepanthopsis astrophora, commonly known as “Starry Sky”, is one of the most stunning miniature orchids, prized for its tiny, star-shaped flowers. When in bloom, the plant looks as if a cloud of purple or purple “stars” floats above the cluster of leaves – creating an incredibly decorative effect in the terrarium.

This species forms small, compact clumps and grows excellently on cork, thin branches, miniature trees, and in light, well-ventilated 3D baskets. It prefers high humidity, gentle air movement, and bright partial shade.
Thanks to its minimal requirements and compact form, it’s the perfect orchid for modern tropical terrariums and naturalistic arrangements.
